        Dress Trade-In Option

In order to expand the in-house wardrobe collection, the studio is now accepting trade-in of your old dresses.

Do you still have your wedding gown and wonder from time to time just how long you're going to hold on to it? Do you have old prom dresses that don't fit anymore or are they a style that you have just grown too old for? You probably have some that are sitting in the back of your closet, or even at your parents' house because you never took them when you moved out.

The studio will accept gently worn, well-kept dresses in exchange for studio credits towards your future photo packages or reprints. You will receive credits far beyond what you can sell online or at a consignment shop. Here's a list of what we will accept:

▪ Contemporary wedding gowns up to size 10
▪ Vintage wedding gowns up to size 8
▪ Bridesmaids dresses up to size 6
▪ Prom dresses in small or medium, or up to size 6
▪ Contemporary "little black dresses" in XS, S, or M, or up to size 6

We will appraise your article based on condition and studio's need to stock that style. We will be able to issue more credits if original receipt and/or original tags are available.

Q: Can I trade in my wedding dress towards my wedding photo package?

A: Yes, you can trade-in your wedding dress as part of the payment for your wedding photography or a bridal portrait package booked prior to your wedding. You can keep your dress and turn it in after your wedding as long it only sustained normal tear and wear.

Q: Why won't you accept dresses in other sizes?

A: The studio only stocks wardrobe that will fit our typical clients. When the demand for other sizes and styles rises, we will start to accept those articles as well.

Q: Will you accept damaged dresses?

A: Fortunately, the dresses we collect will only need to look good enough for the camera. We may still accept damaged dresses that are deemed impractical to wear out but "camera acceptable", such as a broken zipper or a hole in an area not easily seen. We will not accept dresses with color damages or odor stains.
