Volunteer Opportunities

Estate Serenity offers various opportunities for volunteer test models. These opportunities are great ways to gain modeling experience as well as pictures for your own uses. There are three basic types of projects:

Portfolio Update

The most common type of project that requires test models. These sessions are shot specifically to update portfolio materials on the website as sample images, or used in the studio's printed portfolios. Limited licenses are granted to the test models for their own uses, including promotional and some commercial uses.
 

Concept/Equipment Tests

Before the studio offers services that involves new concepts, many small details will need to be worked out. Same goes when new equipments are acquired and the photographer needs to become familiar with them before a live shoot. These tend to be more casual session and often at odd hours. Photos produced from these sessions are typically not published.
 

Art/Specialty Projects

Like portfolio sessions, these projects often have a specific theme. However, unlike the portfolio sessions,  they are shot mostly for artistic expression or special purposes that are not commercial-related. These projects may require more modeling experience than the other projects, but are also more rewarding as the styles of photography are typically not offered by the studio to public.

Apart from being able to participating in photo shoots at no cost and receiving pictures, there are other benefits of being a volunteer test model.

Gain Experience

Whether you're modeling in order to pursue a career in the industry, or just having fun, experience is an important asset. In process, you will learn posing skills and tips, receive constructive criticisms, and understand your own body that you may not have known.
 

Priority Casting

Active brand ambassador are often called upon first when there's a new casting, before it is available to the public as an open casting.
 

Wardrobe Access

Local brand ambassadors are allowed to check out clothes stocked by the studio for their personal use.
 

Private Events

Brand ambassadors are invited to private events and parties hosted by the studio that are not open to the general public.
 

Service Discount

Active High School Brand Ambassadors may qualify and enjoy the same benefits as someone with the Premier Client status. These include purchasing reprints and licenses under the "partner rate", as well as a significant discount on many packages offered by Estate Serenity.

 

 

Candidacy

Currently, we are only accepting individuals 13 years or older. Applicants under the age of 18 must be co-signed by a legal guardian. The ideal candidate...

▪ has a passion for modeling and creating art

▪ should be physically flexible and enjoys challenges

▪ should be comfortable with his or her physical appearances

▪ has a sense of humor and loves Chinese food
